It's PATIO Time ! ! !

We welcome Spring - a little early.

On Saturday the 10th, we opened the deck of our patio for dining.
We will keep the deck available as weather and temperatures permit.
There is limited seating. Reservations are encouraged as the patio gets filled very quickly

We officially be opening the patio on April 6th (weather permitting). So come and enjoy the fresh sent of Spring on the deck.

Be sure to make reservations for the patio to ensure seating as tables get filled very quickly.

Mahi-Mahi - A great success!

Mahi-Mahi (Large skewer of fresh fillet lightly marinated Mahi-Mahi, Charbroiled on an open fire.) was a great success last night. We sold out real fast. Sorry goes out to those who missed out. We didn't expect such a great demand. We do plan to continue during Lent to have Mahi-Mahi as a Friday special. We look forward to seeing you at your table.

Carnaval Celebration starts today, Friday, Feb. 16th thru Tuesday, Feb. 20th
Come watch the competition live from San Paulo, Brazil on BIG Screen TV.
Caipirinhas will be flowing, plus other great tropical fruit drinks.
On Saturday, Feb. 17th beginning at 9:00am, we will be open for Mardi Gras Parade. A private lot parking for all you parade goers is available for $10. Drinks will be available too. With dining available at our regular hours, starting at 5pm.

We're Open!!!!

Yes, it really happens. Tonight at 5:00pm, Yemanja Brasil is reopening after all our remodeling. The work took a bit longer than expected, and we appologize for the inconviences - especially to those of you who came to the restaurant without knowing. You will enjoy your dining expeience with the new loook and new menu items. Over the next month, we will be introducing the new menu and some other new looks. It's an ongoing process, but we didn't want to keep our guest waiting for the Brazilian taste too long.

We'd like to thank all our patrons for your patience during our remodeling.

Flooring Delays Reopening Until Fri, Feb 9th

We got all the painting finished yesterday, which put us on target, but we got a set-back.
The flooring company gave us bad news about the floors and time schedule. They are going to need extra days to fix the floors, strip the old varnish off, stain floors, and varnish them.
We are sad to announce that the re-opening will be Friday, Feb. 9th and not Tuesday as planned. We do apologize for the inconvenience, and look forward to seeing you after the remodeling.

Yesterday, painting went according to plans.
Just the final paint job today. The floors get started on later today. It will be a four-day process. We also get the charbroiler installed today. more later...

The first day went well.
We got through the final prep-work and began painting the trim.
Late night we finished the trim. Today it's walls and ceiling.

We have begun the first steps to giving Yemanja Brasil a whole new look.
The restaurant is cleared out and ready for phase 1 - patching, spakling, taping, and finally painting. Check back and I'll tel you how the day went.

Closed for remodling Tue, Jan 30th thru Sun, Feb 4th

I wanted to inform all of you that Yemanja Brasil will be CLOSED for REMODELING and restructuring starting Tuesday, Jan. 30th through Sunday, Feb. 4th . Yemanja will be installing a charbroiler to offer flame-grilled meats and other kitchen features. Once the remodeling is finished, Yemanja Brasil will be fashioning a great new look from floors to decor to tableware. But the best feature wil be the new menu. Bet you can't wait to see what new Brazilian cuisine we will be introducing. Check us out... starting Tuesday, Feb. 6th.
